- 1 tablespoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions
- Add the turmeric, ginger, nutmeg, black pepper, and honey to a small bowl. Add water to the same bowl and whisk together until no clumps remain and the spices are fully dissolved.
- Pour the turmeric mixture into an ice cube tray, making sure to fill each slot all the way to the top. Leave in the freezer for at least 3 to 4 hours or overnight until set.
- When ready to serve, place one turmeric spice cube into a mug and carefully pour in 8 to 10 oz of boiling water or hot milk to fully dissolve. Stir until the liquid turns a deep, golden color. Add honey or additional sweetener if desired and serve immediately.
