Description

Nothing is more delicious than oven-baked sweet potato fries, which are super easy to make and are a great healthy homemade snack. Tossed with just olive oil and a few spices, they’re full of flavor and prove to be irresistibly delicious.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium-large sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into thin strips
  • 3 Tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 Tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Peel the sweet potatoes and cut them into fry-shaped pieces, about 1/4 to 1/2-inch thick. Try to cut them into similarly sized pieces so the fries can bake evenly.
  3.  Transfer the sweet potatoes to a small bowl. Add paprika, salt, and black pepper, and drizzle olive oil over the sweet potatoes. Toss together until the fries are lightly and evenly covered in the oil and spices.
  4. Carefully spread the sweet potatoes out in a single layer on the baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes. Then carefully remove the pan from the oven, flip the fries over with a pair of tongs, and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the fries are well browned.
  5. Serve immediately while still hot with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!
