Description

These Philly Cheesesteak Crescent Rolls are everything you love about a classic cheesesteak—melty cheese, tender beef, and sautéed onions and peppers—all wrapped in buttery crescent roll dough. They’re quick to make, kid-friendly, and perfect as an appetizer, party snack, or even a fun twist on weeknight dinner. If you’re craving comfort food with minimal effort, this recipe delivers big flavor in every bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 large onion, sliced thinly
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced thinly
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 8 oz roast beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheese of your choice
  • 1 Pillsbury Original Crescent Rolls

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. In a medium-sized pan over medium-high heat, sauté onion and green pepper and season with salt and pepper. Stir for about 5-7 minutes, or until the onions start to turn translucent and the peppers are slightly browned. Then turn off the heat and set pan aside to cool.
  2. Open the Pillsbury dough tube and roll out each croissant into a triangle. Layer shredded cheese, roast beef, and the onion-and-peppers mix into the center. Then carefully fold and roll the dough over the mixture until secured. Repeat for the remaining croissants.
  3. Transfer the croissants onto a rimmed baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
