Description

This Homemade Cinnamon Tea uses a make-ahead spice cube method that will change your whole morning routine. Just drop a ready-made cinnamon cube into your mug, pour over boiling water or hot milk, and stir in honey to taste. It’s naturally caffeine-free with only 3 ingredients and can be made dairy-free. Once you try it this way, there’s no going back!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Add the cinnamon, honey, and water to a small bowl. Whisk together until no clumps remain and the cinnamon is fully incorporated into the mixture.
  2. Pour the cinnamon mixture into an ice cube tray, making sure to fill each slot all the way to the top. Leave in the freezer for at least 3 to 4 hours or overnight until set.
  3. When ready to serve, place one cinnamon spice cube into a mug and carefully pour in 8 to 10 oz of boiling water or hot milk to fully dissolve. Stir until the liquid turns a deep, golden color. Add honey or additional sweetener if desired and serve immediately.
