Description
Nothing can compare to a delicious steak sandwich, which always hits the spot. And it doesn’t take a lot of complicated ingredients to make an amazing one! This rendition comes together with tender strips of flank steak, arugula, and blue cheese dressing piled on a crusty baguette.
Ingredients
Scale
- 6 oz. flank steak
- Salt and pepper, for seasoning
- 1 Tablespoon olive oil
- Blue cheese dressing
- Arugula
- Mini baguette, sliced in half
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Season the flank steak generously with salt and pepper on both sides. Then heat olive oil in a large ovenproof pan over medium-high heat and cook the steak for about 3 minutes on each side.
- Transfer the pan to the oven and finish cooking the steak for about 10 minutes, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 145-155 degrees F. (If you’d like to cook the steak a while longer than medium-well in this recipe, keep cooking until it reaches your desired temperature.)
- Remove steak from oven and start assembling the sandwich! Add the blue cheese dressing and arugula to the baguette halves, then top with the steak. Serve and enjoy!
