Description

For those weeknights when you need a quick and easy meal with little hassle, this simple spinach and ricotta ravioli hits the spot. This recipe comes together quickly with a few ingredients: spinach ravioli, fresh basil and spinach, and grated Parmesan. It’s delicious, hearty, and comforting all in one bowl.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 20 oz spinach & ricotta ravioli, found in the refrigerated section of the grocery store
  • 4 Tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups spinach
  • Fresh basil leaves, torn

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Prepare the ravioli al-dente according to the package instructions, and then carefully drain the ravioli.
  2. Melt 2 Tbsp of butter in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add spinach and basil to the pan, and saute for about 1 minute.
  3. Add the remaining butter and the cooked ravioli, tossing it with everything for a few minutes. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese and enjoy!
