Lemon-Orange Ginger Tea
Looking for a simple and delicious immunity boost for the colder months ahead? This soothing lemon-orange ginger tea comes together quickly with fresh ingredients that combine to form a drink with powerful health benefits.

Benefits of lemon-orange ginger tea
Lemon-orange ginger tea is exactly what it sounds like: a soothing herbal infusion of lemon, orange, and ginger — with a touch of sweetener like honey. But don’t underestimate its simplicity for lack of benefits! In fact, there are quite a few health benefits that the tea provides:
- Soothes indigestion: Ginger has long been used in alternative medicine to alleviate the pains of indigestion and lemon contains limonene, a plant compound that aids digestion by helping move food through the digestive tract.
- Alleviates nausea: It can be especially beneficial for those who are prone to seasickness or are pregnant.
- Cold and flu relief: Drinking lemon tea regularly can help relieve common cold and flu symptoms like coughing, body aches, and sore(no title) throat.
- Reduces nasal congestion: The steam generated from the herbal infusion can help open up nasal cavities and bring relief.
- Helps fight inflammation: Ginger is packed with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, which can be beneficial for those with arthritis.
- Improves heart health: Cinnamon can lower your overall cholesterol and can contribute to a healthy heart. You can read more about the benefits of cinnamon in our recipe for Cinnamon Tea.
